Amidst a leadership tussle, the NFF Elective Congress held in Katsina State to elect a new president for the Nigerian football federation.
The federation after a cast of votes has announced incumbent president, Amaju Pinnick as the president for the second term following a landslide victory.
The result as released by the NFF shows Pinnick leading with a massive, 34 votes, giving fellow contestant Aminu Maigari a very wide gape, as the latter ended up having 8 votes, Ogunjobi, 2 votes and Okoye 0 votes.

Amaju Melvin Pinnick – 34 votes.
Alh Aminu Maigari – 8 votes.
Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi – 2 votes.
Chinedu Okoye – No vote.
