A Nigerian soldier, who did his wedding introduction three months ago, was among the many officers killed during a Boko Haram terrorists attack on a military base in Borno state, on Saturday.
Lt. Dashe from Jos, Plateau state, was killed when the insurgents ambushed a military convoy at Boboshe village.
5 officers, 18 soldiers, and 8 trucks were reported missing after the attack. Several dead bodies have since been retrieved.
According to his bereaved friend Xtopher Ojile, who shared news of his demise, the young soldier had complained of no support of weapons at his location.
