Popular Nigerian Singer, Tiwa Savage, today, left the Don Jazzy-led Mavin Records.
Tiwa Savage, who joined the record label in 2012, has been one of its lead artistes who has topped charts in the Nigerian music industry with various hit singles like “All Over,” “Eminado”, and “My Darlin”. This comes a few months after Reekardo Banks also left the record label. At this point all i’m thinking is “Don Jazzy’s money is going to start to finish very soon.”
Don Dorrobucci on his part has taken to Instagram to celebrate the label’s queen, Tiwa Savage, as she ends her contract with the music outfit.
Appreciating her contributions to the growth of the record label, in the last seven years, the multiple-award-winning producer, on behalf of the team, described Tiwa as an “inspiration”
Don Jazzy, further assured the multiple-award winner that Mavin will always be solidly behind her, wishing her success in her new phase.
“Our darling Tiwatope. We at Mavin would like to say a very big thank you for being such an inspiration to all of us, a friend, a sister. It’s been an epic journey with you and we are very proud of what we have achieved together,” he wrote on Instagram.
“As you start this new chapter in your life we want you to know that we are solidly behind you and can’t wait for the world to see what we have always believed you can be.
“Your jersey as the First Lady of Mavin will forever be yours as we do not intend to fill that position with anyone else. We love you from the bottom of heart and pray GOD’s blessings continue to follow you. Amennnn.”
