Asisat Oshoala, Francisca Ordega and Onome Ebi were listed in the final 10 of the players that will fight for the crown.
Nigeria’s Asisat Oshoala is the current holder of the title, she won the title last year. According to CAF, the final phase will be decided by votes from CAF media experts, legends, coaches of quarter finalists of CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup as well as those national coaches and captains of the 54 members of CAF. The three Nigerians have been impressive for Nigeria at the just concluded Women’s Nations Cup in Ghana where they beat South Africa to win the title.
