You would recall an earlier report stating that on July 15th 2016, the Baker Hughes Top Management locked out all employees of the company who joined the Union attached to the Nigerian Oil sector PENGASSAN. They claimed that the appointments of all staffs have been terminated because the positions they hold had become ‘Redundant’.
Ever since the said date till today the 14th of December, the company dumped all the workers and have refused to pay their allowances even after the Minister of Labour, Chris Ngige, intervened. After the company couldn’t get an injunction from the court to stop the workers from Picketing, the workers continued their Protest pending when the issues with the management is settled.
So on Christmas day, they decided to throw their Christmas party right at the entrance of the company. See photos from the Fun filled party:
