The FIFA World Cup qualifiers have long been grouped from A to G and the competition is interesting to note, especially Nigeria’s Group D placement that sees us battle Argentina (this almost looks like a conspiracy) considering the fact that we recently trashed them 4-2 from 2 goals down.
This seems like a perfect opportunity for the Argentine side to repay the favor. It’s also worthy to note that Nigeria have never beaten Argentina at the World Cup.
I hear Croatia is also a deadly threat, brandishing firearms from defence to attack, they boast of names like Luka Modric and Mario Mandzukic among others.
The furthest the Super Eagles have gone at the World Cup is the round of 16 on three occasions out of their previous five apperances they’ve featured.
But its not only Nigeria we’re worried about. Check out Group B where just concluded African Nations Championship (CHAN) winners, Morocco square off against the likes of Portugal and Spain.
With no further ado, take a look at the FIFA world cup qualifiers list in their respective groups.
