This week sure started bloody at the White House, while aides to the POTUS resigned only recently, some others lost their jobs without seeing it coming.
John McEntee, a longtime personal assistant to President Trump was abruptly escorted out of the White House Monday in another dramatic staff change.
McEntee, who served as the trip director for Trump’s campaign and went on to become his ‘body man,’ was escorted out of the White House Monday afternoon. He had worked there throughout the administration.
It was reported that he got fired because he is under investigation by the Department of Homeland Security for ‘serious financial crimes,’ a source told the network.
A source familiar with his firing told the network the circumstances were not related to Trump.
He was taken out for an ‘unspecified security issue,’ the Wall Street Journal reported, citing a White House official.
According to Daily Mail, he left without his belongings, and another official said he even left without his jacket, according to the report. He told colleagues the reason had to do with his background.
