President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday arrived in Bauchi State for a two-day working visit.
The President was welcomed at Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa International Airport, by the governor of Bauchi, Muhammed Abubakar and his Adamawa state counterpart, Mohammed Jibrilla.
Buhari is expected to commission some projects especially roads and flag off the distribution of 500 tractors to farmers in the state during his visit.
Governor Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar declared Thursday a public holiday due to Buhari’s visit in an attempt to give Bauchi residents a chance to welcome the president.
Throngs of citizens came out in their numbers to welcome the president, and from the look on their faces, one can tell how excited they were to have him around. See photos below:
