Senate President Bukola Saraki has visited survivors of the deadly Nasarawa State gas station that left several people dead.
According to him, ‘I just visited the survivors of today’s horrific gas explosion in Nasarawa State. My thoughts and prayers remain with the families that lost loved ones today. We will continue to support the State Government to ensure the speedy and full recovery of the all the victims’.
The unfortunate incident was caused by a bike man in Lafia, Nasarawa state.
According to eyewitnesses reports, the incident was caused by the impatience of a bike rider who defied a roadblock after a gas leakage.
It was gathered that the leakage was from a gas truck offloading its content and all vehicles, bikes, and passersby were stopped from passing through the road.
However, an impatient bike man outsmarted the fire service/security personnel. But while driving through, the bike ignited a fire which killed scores.
