APC National chairman, Adams Oshiomole, still stands his ground on his view that senate president, Bukola Saraki, must vacate his position since he defected from the ruling party, APC, to the opposition party PDP in July.
Oshiomole had previously vowed to ensure that Saraki is impeached if he does not vacate the seat honorably. In his opinion, the political office is meant to be occupied by someone from the ruling party and since Saraki has defected to the PDP, it is expected he honorably resigns so that someone from the ruling party can occupy the position.
