Kyle Tessiero, the accountant who was accused of stealing more than $9 million from JLO’s ex-husband Marc Anthony, has finally been sentenced to six years in jail.
Kyle Tessiero, 36, took a plea deal in June and admitted to building up millions in charges on Anthony’s American Express card in order to pay for his luxurious lifestyle.
According to Page Six, he spent tens of thousands on strip clubs, exotic travel and expensive dinners.
The robbery was uncovered when AmEx questioned one of the unauthorized charges and a guilt-ridden Tessiero confessed to the police.
Tessiero, whose LA-based accounting firm is famous for representing the likes of Pharrell and Drake, pulled off the eight-year-long scheme by using the singer’s bank account to pay off the card as he spent.
