Twitter user, Ore Akinde, in a recent post on Twitter lamented the alleged rape of two students of the Unversity of Nsukka by the school staff.
According to her, its one of many rape issues perpetrated on the female gender in the reputable university. It does not help that the victim is usually blamed for the assault with many stating the cause of rape as the lady’s provocative dressing.
Tired of the alarming rate of the assault as well as the lackadaisical attitude with which it is handled, the student took to Twitter to lament:
The rate at which girls are raped in university of Nigeria Nsukka is alarming..
And everyone is blaming it on the girls provocative dressing 🤦— Ore Akinde (@akinde_ore) November 11, 2018
It's actually very sad even the boys are brutally harassed, beaten and important resources are stolen from them 😭😭😭
It's just God that's protecting us😪— Ore Akinde (@akinde_ore) November 12, 2018
They were two young freshers and this isn't the first.. They just get ridiculed, insulted, blamed and ignored and everyone moves on…

And please before you reply this tweet.. Think well first.. Freshers are very young and gullible and open to anything..
They were probably just enjoying their freedom doesn't give anyone the right to rape them..
Worst part they were raped by staff not students..— Ore Akinde (@akinde_ore) November 12, 2018
And to think our securities carry guns they're as useless as our student union 🙄

I'm tired of arguing.. if y'all feel it's right to rape a female cos she isn't fully dressed (your opinion) then y'all need serious help…
