A new visa system has been announced by the government of Zimbabwe which will see citizens from 28 countries receive Zimbabwe visa on arrival, in a bid to improve travel facilitation and unlock the potential of the tourism industry.
Announcing the development of the Zimbabwe visa system during the National Tourism Strategy Workshop held in Victoria Falls, Department of Immigration Principal Director, Clement Masango ,said the changes are with immediate effect.
The country’s vice president, Rtd. Gen. Constantino Chiwenga, recently said government seeks to move away from the trend in most African countries where almost two-thirds of the world’s population must obtain visas before entry.
